Love the pattern too & would love to have it to use up some of the neckties I've been collecting. Your color & fabric choice are so pretty. Thanks for sharing & inspiring.

This is beautiful. I love the pattern and if you get time I'd love to have the name and where to find it. Was it really difficult. I am a new quilter and don't need anything too difficult. Thanks.

Thank you. I bought this online at Quilters World, I went looking for it again yesterday and they are not listing it anymore, but someone else here on the board said that it was published hard copy in the magazine. I will see if I can find the issue.
Yes it was pretty simple to do. Just need to be sure to watch your placement when building your blocks. In other words, everything starts from that little middle square, so if you start the purple (in this case)first, you should always start the block with that color. I dont know if you can tell in the photos, but the purple "STEPS" when all together are actually smaller than the black and white ones. Hope that makes sense. give it try Thanks again, Suebee

**P.S. I just went back and looked at the photos, and you CAN tell the purple ones are smaller, they also are vertical whereas the black and white ones are horizontal.

***UPDATE:The pattern was in the Feb 2011 Quilter World magazine Pages 88-91
