    I like how the backing/top in your photos coordinate together, especially if your choosen quilting will be either stitch-in-the-ditch or outlining of the flowers on the backing. Any other choosen quilting design might get lost in the pattern of the backing fabric, but then you might be ok with that if you want the front to be the only wow factor in your quilt.

    The quilt top is so lovely and it looks so precise and straight forward. The backing fabric looks too frilly. But that is just my opinion. What you think is all that counts!

    As other have said you need 4 yds for the backing plus 15 inches for the binding if cut 2.5 inches.

    I like that backing with the quilt. When you show the close up, the fabrics seem to blend quite well. I love the colors. What are you planning to bind it with?

    Your quilt is beautiful! Looks like we might be neighbors. I was surprised to see Portsmouth, Ohio on here. I live in the Lucasville-Minford area. Small world!
