I just got back from a week long visit to Vancouver and Victoria island BC. Had a great time...I even did a little quilt shop shopping....OMG!!! was fabric expensive I promise never to complain about our fabric prices in the USA...We are talking 17.00 to 20.00 dollar a meter which is just 3 inches or so more than a yard... the exchange rate is .95 cent American for every 1.00 Canadian. no deal there. But, I will say that the people are all so friendly and the sea food out of this world... I eat enough fish for a life time of Omega 3 lol!!! enjoy the pictures

me and my honey oh! yes we went by motorcycle

Lovely cities -- Victoria especially. I have read fabric prices quoted by some of our Canadian and Australian members and I cringe. Not sure I would have much of a stash.

Yes, I recognize the car deck on the ferry! I'm an ex-pat Victoria born/raised, Vancouver resident. Did you get to Fabricana? Huge and fun. Yes, fabric is expensive which is why my DC is coming south again next week for our trip to Fabric Depot in Portland, OR

    Glad you enjoyed your trip!
