    I was surprised to see that you are appliquing those flowers onto the background. I have done gfg, but have just added hex background to flowers and it has "grown" that way........your way is interesting to me. Have fun finishing it....

    I don't normally care for hexies, but I really like what you've done with the dark background and the types of fabric you've used. This is going to finish as a work to be proud of!

    I've been working on a hexie quilt. I'm sure it will be a work in progress for some time. Give yourself a huge pat on the back. It looks terrific!!!!!

    Are you appluquing? Or just showing on the backing you plan to use? Whichever, it is turning out great! I've done a couple of hexagon quilts, but I used a larger hexagon, mostly because I always lacked patience, I'm a slow worker and like to get through as quickly as possible!
