    You all know how difficult it is to get quilting stuff here in Spain...well I found a sheet of acrylic in the one large DIY store in Malaga and TAD DAH......I now have a whole range of square rulers...thanks to my DH!!!!!

    I just did, he made from 15.5" down to 2.5".....do you have any suggestions for other shapes...I was thinking about a diamond shape which I can mark with the CD pen in increments..... :D

    Si, mi marido le gusta ayudarme, pero normalamente el es no interesante en DIY mucho!! Mi tengo un dolor de cabeza ahora porque hacer mucho estressio!!!!! lol!! Tu entiendes mi espanol??????

    Its really easy Bev, you just mark it carefully, clamp the main piece down firmly, score it with a 'Stanley' knife (craft knife) until you are about half way through then....you have to be brave and just 'snap' it downwards.

    Afterwards you just need to lightly sand the edges to get any snags off!!

    Wah lah you have your own templates!!

    It would have cost at least £65.00 to buy them individually in the U.K. and god knows how much more here in Spain!!! The piece of acrylic cost 30 euros - approx £23.00 - so a great saving too!!!!
