Just purchased the most lovely fabric to make a quilt for my niece
#1
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share - I just ordered the most lovely fabric to make a quilt for my niece. She is almost 1. My plan is to give this to her for Christmas this year, she will be close to being in a "big girl" bed by then. I made her older brother a quilt for Christmas when he was nearly 2 as well.
The fabric line is called Flutter by Allison Jane Smith for Windham Fabrics.
Here are some images - they are the FQ bundle, the border, and the binding.
I will attach images of the backing and the pattern I'm going to use to the next message.

This is the FQ bundle I need - 20 FQs.

Then here is the backing fabric and the quilt pattern I'm going to use.
The pattern is so cute, and it is really easy, I think, just big snowballs. This pattern is layer cake friendly too.
Oh, and here are some links:

thanks, everyone. I'm pretty busy but am hoping to have it done sometime in the next 6 months. I think i probably won't even get the fabric for a few weeks (shipping from US to Canada) and then I have to hit a local store to pick out some cream or white to use for the sashing/border/etc. I will definitely post pictures as I go along!
I've never done a snowball before (this will be my 3rd full size quilt) but my quilting expert mom assures me they are easy.
