Hi Izy, Beautiful, he is simply going to go bananas when he sees this.

On another note, your pictures of the wedding have all gone. Why ???

Beautiful Izy! Is that machine quilted freehand? I've got some panels I thought of doing this on to move my machine quilting along from meandering.

Nice to have you around BTW! :D

Hiya K!! Hows the holidays going?

Yes I did abit of free motion on the white areas to fill it in and it was such fun to do this, nice and quick too!! I have to confess to just using the open toe and moving around the other areas of quilting, not that confident yet as you have to go so fast it is difficult to plan where you are moving to next.....in time lol!! :D

Kids have been away with their dad - back today and next week we're off to Corsica for a fortnight!

Back to quilting...what you did looks great - I guess you followed some of the detail in the panel to emphasise the different features? You've really made the different elements stand out. :D

That's all I did K, just picked out the features, then in the lattic border just did a diamond effect so I didn't have to do all the lines, did it like a continual zig zag from the four corners then back the other way making a central row of diamonds...does that make sense?? lol!!

Back to the cleaning for me.....grrrhhhh wanna stay on here!!!
