Thrift stores are a great place to find zippers.

Try thrift shops for zippers. I was in charge of the craft dept. for years and zippers came in regularly and prices were in the .25 range. Many were brand new in packages.

Zipperstop is a great site to buy any and all kinds of zips online. Great prices, too. They have been in business 100 years or more... family owned.
