I didn't use a pattern Angie, I just roughly cut up the scraps I had then just started in the middle with a square (ish) piece and worked my way around like a log cabin, when I got it to roughly 10/12" across, I added 4 rough cut triangles of fabric, then squared the block with a 12.5" square ruler, then added 3/4" navy polka dot sashing to each block. The borders are made from all the leftover scraps, just stitched them all together and cut them at 2.5" joined them up and made up the quilt top as usual. I didn't have enough scraps to go around the outside edge, so added the tone on tone beige, which I think frames it better anyway

Very nice no wonder you got a go on your quilting. I recieved Sandpats IRR today and it is simply gorgeous.

I'm all for the idea JoanneS suggested. Break out the long rulers and start cutting and playing. Make it your own. This way you get to release that inner artist that is just begging to take someone else's idea and make it your own.
And even if you don't cut this one up, they both deserve to be their own quilt. After your 6 week rest you came up with two. You seem to be on a roll and back in the quilting scheme of things.
Just have fun, is my thought.
