I love the thin strips of red print against the purple grunge!

Very beautiful and colorful. I never was a fan of Kaffe Fassette but your quilt has really changed my mind. Great work.

Your quilt is stunning. I too would like any info re the blocks or the name of the quilt shop that offered the BOM to get the info directly from them. Love Kaffe's stuff & you have made it look gorg-e-mous!!! Thanks for sharing. Kathy

It was a Marti Michelle BOM from 2013. It did not have a name that I could find but used her A and C templates

The grunge somewhat calms the bright Kaffe fabric and I think, with the use of multiple fabrics in each block, the pieces melt together so that the blocks show rather than just the fabric.

Again, I will honestly say that the grunge was never something that I would have willingly picked but it was the owner of the quilt shop who picked it out - and she has a wonderful eye for color! She did good!!

I love the floating corner stones in the sashing with the narrow center strip. Was that detail part of the BOM design or did you add it?

Thanks - glad you liked it! It was my design as was the five patches as alternate blocks. The suggested setting was a little pinwheel as cornerstones, a two color sashing and floral alternating blocks - none of which I liked. The sashing I used was 3" wide (finished) and the cornerstones and "stripe" were 1" finished,
