Default Kaffe Fassett Wedding Quilt Update: Quilted and Done!

I posted this quilt as a top, and received so many nice comments and people asking me to show it again when it was finished. Well, here it is: I took some of the closeups without flash, so the quilting designs might show.

The bride and groom will be coming tomorrow to visit for Father's Day. I'm going to tell them to go up to their room... that their wedding present is on their bed!

    Quilting Close ups:

Don't know if you can see, but the center of the quilt is quilted with hearts.

The majority of the quilt center is HSTs, quilted this way:

The border fabric really lent itself to being outline quilted with FMQ.

    And the back:

This quilt was a kit called Hedge Maze that I bought from Craftsy. It's currently on backstock. The pattern is by Heidi Pridemore for Rowan Fabrics. It was a fun and easy quilt to make, but I'm glad now that it's done. It took me a week and that's long enough!

It's beautiful, I recently ordered some Kaffe Fasset Collective fabrics for the first time. Looking forward to using them, they are so vibrant.

You did an excellent job with the placement of the fabrics. His fabrics can sometimes be overwhelming.
