BTW - One Block Wonders Encore does tell you how to do all sorts of hollow blocks and it also explains the whole OBW process so I think you could manage with just that book if you were starting out, although I have both... :D
Thank you for your comments and the info about the encore book.

I know you will have a lot of fun doing these blocks. I am not a real good one for picking out fabric. I was disappointed in all the green I got. That is the main reason I added the hollow cubes. In the end, I was really glad that I did make the cubes. Does she talk about fabrics in the Encore book? You can also do a search on this site for kaleidoscope quilts and it will bring up a bunch of links. Many of them post the fabric or have it in the border.

    Thank you for the compliment.

I must try to locate the ENCORE book.

Izy and Monica, Thanks to both of you. When I saw the pumpkin fabric, I immediately thought country and my dear friend. I wasn't even looking for fabric; I just walked by it. I guess you could say the fabric "spoke" to me!!!
