Kathy sent me this T-shirt quilt. She made it from Her daughter's T-shirts and this will be her daughter's graduation gift...her College dorm quilt. I love memories preserved this way..into something useful and I am always glad to be a part of something so special.

WE spoke about designs...and the school symbol is the "star" so I quilted loops and stars as the backdrop...I also put her daughter's name, school mascots name..and a few volleyball terms...
    BUmp-set-kill- any questions?...........Spike it....

I just put simple designs in each block...as a filler...per Kathy's request...This quilt is fun and I know it will be cherished.

I get a little teary eyed myself thinking about the time when I will have to kiss my kids good-bye so they can start a new chapter in their life...ans this will be a good reminder of "home."

I quilted this on my INNOVA no pantograph or computer quilting.
    I used Hobbs polydown batting.

    Thanks for looking!

Wow! You've elevated the common tshirt quilt to a new level. It's great.

Yes, I agree. I've never seen a T-shirt quilt look this good. The piecer gets a lot of credit and as usual, Charisma does a fantastic job. She makes FM quilting look so easy. I wish it was.

Congratulations to the young lady receiving it.
