    Beautiful work. I really like the colors. Was it as difficult as it appears? Those small white squares in the center look like they may be pieced. Are they whole squares or pieced?

    I made this quilt with the chevron method found on Quilters Cache. The squares are actually triangles at the ends of the strips. I had to turn the strips to get the squares up the center (otherwise there would be the zigzaging up the center like there are going up the sides). Clear as mud?

    I found the main fabric (marble looking) at a thrift store. There were about 10 or so valances in a pack for $5.00. Each valance was about 8' long.
