    Red face Kiddies quilts

I've managed to make and finish 2 kiddies quilts. The very bright one were just blocks and bits and pieces from my stash. It's for a young mother at the reception from the chemo unit we used to go to regularly with my darling husband and she was always so nice and helpful. Her little girl will be born next month.
The other one will go to a friend for her first grand-son, he's premi but by the time he will get out of hospital it'll come in handy. His Dad comes from the Dominican Republic so I thought the beach/holiday theme will just be nice. On the picture it looks like the quilting is wavy and like it sort of pulls on the stitching but it's only how the light comes in, when it's laying flat it looks OK.
    Thanks for looking!!!

Both very nice quilts but I especially like the bits and pieces from your stash one, it will make a good game of eye spy.

Great quilts! I have many of the same scraps in my stash also. I spotted the bears immediately. I won't tell where it came from if you don't. I love bright colors for baby quilts and I think the babies do, too.

Both quilts are darling. I am sure both recipients will treasure the gift you have made for them.
