I've been playing with liberating quilting and a group of us are making liberated Amish quilts inspired by this new book: http://pomegranate.stores.yahoo.net/a178.html

Here's my inspiration: http://www.pbase.com/brownsf/image/12255584 I'll use all solids for my next one, but I felt like being even more liberated this weekend.

If you like Amish quilts, here are some beauties to see: http://www.pbase.com/brownsf/amish_quilts This collection is on display at the de Young Museum in San Francisco until June 6, 2010.

Now to decide which one I'd like to make next!
