Kindergarten teacher quilt
I found a quilt like this on Pinterest and copied it as closely as possible given my parameters. My daughter completed Kindergarten this year and had 16 classmates. It was her teacher's first class. I was not happy that my daughter got a rookie for her first year, but the teacher was amazing and you could tell she loved the children. My wife told her we were doing a craft project and asked if we could come in and get handprints for it, and she agreed. We made two sets of prints in case we had any errors. Everything went well, so we have what we need to make Emmaline a quilt like this also.

I had a little bobble lining up the quilting pattern. Hopefully she won't notice it.

This is a gift that this teacher will always treasure. It will mark her career's beginning and see her through many difficult days as a teacher in the years to come. It will be what she comes home to wrap herself in when she has had a tough day or the most wonderful day of her life with her kids. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making such a precious gift for someone who is responsible the beginning education of our children.
