And the furkids obviously approve as well! Lovely quilt and a great example of how an all over quilting pattern totally compliments a top that has a strong visual impact to begin with so didn't need custom quilting (lovely design you both chose too!). And I agree, it is always great when the DH really, really likes a quilt you make.
I also enjoy LC blocks for mindless sewing. They are great stash busters and a fabulous project to have when you can only spare 15 to 30 minutes of sewing time. If you precut your logs you can get a lot of blocks done in a short period of time. And they have so many setting variations. The LC is truly a timeless design that can look modern or old fasioned depending on what you do with them.
