Gorgeous quilt. Love log cabins. Love the arrangement and colors. With all the pressing and trimming you were really busy.

Thank you for the nice comments! It wasn't all that difficult to do the piecing. I bought the book Make a Quilt in a day: Log Cabin Pattern by Eleanor Burns so and that really made the piecing very easy. I literally worked on it after work every single day from anywhere to an hour to 6 hours to get in done in time for Christmas. The quilting was quite a challenge. I set up 2 6ft folding tables in my living room to pin and quilt it. This was before we moved into our house and I had a sewing area. My kids thought it was quite a sight watching me do that one. It took me 3 days non-stop to do, sewing for 12+ hours each day, which I did on my days off of work. I quilted it on diagonals.
