    My decision on the beautiful quilt would depend on use. Misty mum I would use a dark colour because I have no way to stop Fudge or Freya off a quilt. They love them especially with poly wadding.

    Your quilt is gorgeous! I've used batik+batik and batik+fabric and can say I've never noticed any difference when quilting(I hire Gammill at LQS).

    That's beautiful, i love the movement. I would opt for a solid back so it doesn't take away from the front. All eyes on the front !!!

    This is amazing! I would keep with a batik on the back. It would compliment all the hard work you have done on the front!

    Love your quilt. For my own quilts I often use muslin for backing because it is less expensive and I don't mind. If it is for someone else I would definitely use a batik since the top is batik.

    OMG! I love your quilt - both the colors and the design. As I look at all the different sizes of the pieces, I could never do anything like that.
