This is the "Kingyo" (kingyo means koi fish in Japanese) quilt top I finished in December for my son and daughter in law. I had it machine quilted because I did not have time to hand quilt it in time for Christmas. I used the quilt label design as the inspiration from the book "More 50 Nifty Iron-On Quilt Labels" by Barbara Baatz Hillman. I wanted to take a picture of the completed quilt but we have not had a good "sun day" here in western Washington for a couple of months.
