Thanks for all the positive feedback. Keeps me energized!

I have a quilt top I'm working on- free pattern from quiltville- strip twist. I bought some strips from ebay. They weren't cut that accurate so I'm fighting with it now. I'm quite frustrated. OK, it was only $31.05 for the rolls, but I expected it would be better quality. Taught me a lesson! Since I need it for a fund raiser quilt for the 4th of Nov. I decided to set it aside (OMG- I've created a UFO!) and make a quick black and white quilt with a touch of red, backed with flannel. I saw a pattern in a fat quarter book and it looked like one I already have, so I'll dig out my book tonight and make it this week end.

That quilt won't go to waste- I have the reunion fund raisers for next year. I'll actually get a head start!

Your quilt is cute. When people say they don't want to use a quilt because it is too pretty; I tell them " Just think how beautiful it will look wrapped around your baby". I make quilts to be used and I tell them if it wears out or falls apart , I will make them another one. Elaine
