He found it at a small antique shop, where we live. It was buried under several other boxes & items!! He is a great spotter. I had really asked for a Feather Weight, but when he found this one, I was in LOVE with it!! The best part was the price. They only wanted $39.00 for the whole thing!! Isn't that unbelievable? I am absolutely in HEAVEN owning such a lovely piece of work!! Thank you everyone for admiring my new machine.

That's such a beautiful gift...how could it be better? I'm very happy that he found it and brought it home to you for continued safekeeping...and for using! I thought I had gotten lucky when I picked one up for just a bit less than your husband 'stole' that one for...but mine is in coal condition...far from the diamond you've been given. This cabinet style doesn't seem to be as common as the all iron legged ones. I love it...enjoy it...and thanks for giving me the urge to work on getting mine in better condition. Merry Christmas!

It sews like a dream!! All he had to do was dust it off & put a new belt on it. I am still amazed that he was so lucky to find it. Oh yes, he cleaned & waxed the cabinet, too!!
