I don't think it's really difficult. Ok, I'm used to piece by hand. So like every other quilt, it' just one piece after another. But there are LOTS of pieces, I have to admit! So I'd say it's more a question of stamina!

I'm so happy to see your picture!!! I just started my second rosette! I'm only using green and purples, with gold/silver and blk/white as accents. It's harder to find interesting fabrics when so limited.

PLEASE don't stop sharing this remarkable quilt process with us! I look forward to it every week with interest and envy. I reminds me of Italian millefiore jewelry.
But I don't see how in the world anyone could cut anything off this hard work; just applique it down or something!
