I guess I should say the best way to start this project is buying the book. However... it's kind of expensive, so I didn't do that, but I'm just working from pictures I found online. So if you want to do that, then the way to start is to do an extensive google-search to get as many different views of the quilt as possible!

I did buy the book and it has really helped me. I just have one rosette done. I did part of it EPP and the other part without the papers. Once I heard you say no papers I wanted to try it. So I know I can do this without the papers and I know it will take awhile. I am going to work on it in-between two other projects that I must finish. I usually stay focused on one project at a time but I just had to see if I could sew these little pieces together. I will use my stash for this and I really think the books helps about the design and all. It is expensive tho. Your quilt is lovely and I love to see you are using scraps. It encourages me.

But where did you find the templates? And what size did you use? I'm all for saving money whenever possible and there are wonderful pictures of this quilt out there

Have a look at this website: http://lindafranz.com/shop/millefior...glia-quilt/174
You'll see the templates you need and the size. I just made my own out of cardboard.
