They are both absolutely beautiful. I am having to disperse some of my Grandma's quilts, and it would help if someone had labeled who they were to go to.
I didn't quilt until after my parents were gone, either, and only 2 of my kids have any interest in having one.
You did a fantastic job on both of these. When you put that much love into something, it sometimes feels like it's not appreciated, but may just take a bit for the magnitude of your gift to sink in.

Maybe your sister just doesn't think she's worthy of a quilt that obviously took a lot of work and time on your part and doesn't know how she'd ever be able to reciprocate. Love the photo of your parents and the dog seeing the quilt for the first time. Dogs always seem to get right into the middle of things, don't they? Your Dad and Mom look so sweet in the third photo - it brought tears to my eyes.

Both quilts are absolutely gorgeous! I hope your sister is just a reserved person and that she loved the quilt as much as you loved giving it to her. The one for your mother and dad, though! Wow! I want to make a large labyrinth like that for my oldest son because I know he'll love it and will absolutely show his joy, as your parents have.

Congratulations on both these lovely creations!

If your sis doesn't want it, I'll treasure it (hint) because it is gorgeous. The blue is fantastic. Congrats & never give up!

I love both of the quilts that you made for you family, I know how much work , and money goes into each one. I hope they know what a treasure you made for them. I think of a quilt as a warm hug from the person that makes it, every time the person you gave it to, wraps up in it. Maybe if you tell your sister, about the warm hug story, it might bring you close again. Keep up the good work, May God bless you.
