What a thoughtful daughter and sister you up. Great job. I love the colors on your parents quilt.

Both of your quilts are beautiful. I have the fabric for a Labrynth quilt and it is on my must do list. I just love the colors in yours, and obviously so do Mom and Dad.
Don't worry about your sister's reaction. Your part was to make and give her the gift, you can't control what she does about it. You can't make anyone happy, that part is her job. You seem to indicate that you have had a difficult relationship, so maybe it is hard for her to open up at this point. You did what your heart told you and make that your reward.

Love them both but the labyrinth quilt is absolutely exquisite. Thanks for sharing.

Two wonderful quilts, I would be thrilled to have either one, but the OBW would be my first pick!

both quilts are beautiful. I'm especially intrigued by your OBW. I love your colors and the subtlety of the blocks. Very nicely done!

Well done. You should be very happy with yourself. They are great quilts! And yes you should get your quilt back at the end of the day..lol. I have my fathers quilt and my mother-in-law's quilts back. It's sad when you don't get the response you would have liked from family members when you put so much of your time, talent and love into something. I feel for you and know how you feel. It makes you think twice before giving another quilt away.

Not the least bit morbid just practical. Both quilts are beautiful---don't worry about your sister's reaction often people just don't know how to accept a gift from the heart it is just a little overwhelming for them. It doesn't mean that she didn't think it wonderful or that she won't brag to all her friends about her creative fabulous sister. It may just mean that at that moment she was bewildered that someone loved her that much to give her such a wonderful gift and was completely speechless.

Both of your quilts are beautiful! Your sister may have been stunned at such an wonderful gift or guilty that she had gotten you nothing? Do not dwell on her response but just the wonderful feed back I am sure you will get from the QB!
