This quilt pattern has been available as a stand alone pattern for a long time, I made my first one 2 years ago. The magazine pattern has errors- if following that one be sure to visit their website & find the corrections. It is Not a difficult pattern , all straight line sewing. Organization is the most important part. I used ( post-it flags) to keep everything organized, cut & laid all strips out in order & double/ triple checked as I went along. It really wasn't hard. Just have to pay attention, lay out each square as you make it. When I quilted mine I combined stitch in the ditch, cross hatch and pebble quilting. Took a long time to quilt but well worth it. The picture I posted is with it on my queen sized bed. It was gifted to someone with a full sized so has a bit more overhang than on my bed.

The directions are very hard to follow. He says to to draw a line across square blocks, then "sew on the drawn line." Just sew? or sew something together? Sew to what side of a strip? the bigger triangle, or the smaller triangle? What a mystery! Add to that, the diagrams do not match the directions. Once I sew the triangle on there, the next drawing shows it in a different position! Very aggravating
