I have only seen the Labyrinth made with 'looks like solid from a distance' fabric. Your floral print really perks it up. Thanks for sharing.

Hopefully my parents will like it--Mom loves red and yellow so she should.
Thanks for posting this Heather! I have the pattern to make this quilt for my sister for her birthday. Did it take you long to cut it out? I HATE cutting, and am hoping this one will be quick and easy to cut and put together. Her birthday is in June! I found out from my other sister that the one I'm making this for likes pinks, greens, and blues, but doesn't like yellows or oranges. This gives me an idea of how the quilt will look in other colors. Looks GREAT! :c)

With those big, cheerful flowers, it's going to be a bright and happy quilt. I've been wondering how a labyrinth quilt would look with other than batiks or stonehenge fabrics. Now I know! It looks great!

Donnafreak, it took me 3-4 hours to cut it out. It takes much less time sewing than it does cutting and laying it out! If you hate cutting that much, you might not enjoy this one. But it's really easy to do. Basically you're just making half-square triangles, then you have to lay out the pieces according to the pattern. That took me a few minutes.

I'm sorry, I cut the fabric back last summer and I didn't save any of the selvage. It's been a few years since I bought it, so it's not a current one.

Thank you for all the lovely compliments! I will post a picture when it's completed. I haven't been able to work on it this week so far. It's on the floor in the guest room, and the room is closed off so the cats don't really have a chance to rearrange the blocks!
