    This quilt made me smile! It certainly has a lot of charm about it. I couldn't figure out if you turned the edges under before zigzaging the appliques down, or just did raw edge applique?

    I used HeatNBond to attach the appliques. I did raw edge applique with a zigzag stitch rather than a straight stitch as the runner will no doubt be washed often.
