I put the border on once and cut the pieces to short.........thats a lot of ripping.......I had to piece the border.

I want to quilt it by machine by outline stitching the flowers.....what foot do i use? I have a package of multi colored buttons.....how would they look on the border.

That is AWSOME! It also looks like a lot of painstaking work. I have no idea how you did that, but it's wonderful.

Your idea of embellishment with the buttons is fantastic. Can't wait to see it. I'm seeing beads and buttons embellishing these beauties more than ever.

Patrice's idea of buttons in the centers--I really like that! I love the colors in this quilt. Will you post a photo of it in the lime green room when it's done, pretty-please?

Ruth, it looks great! I have had long hair for years, and buttons in quilts get tied up in it and cause me all kinds of problems!

The wide border is white with tiny pale green flowwers. This is where I want the bottons i want some kind of dark green decorative stitch using the sewing machine and colored buttons for flowers.....but I have to figure how the machine does that. If i put buttons in the middle the animals would chew them

That is awesome. I love those colors and especially the green inner border color, the button idea is great. I can't wait to see what you do.
