Lakota Star Quilt (aka Lone Star Quilt)
#85
[quote=newestnana]Last night I finally finished my new grandson's Lakota Star Quilt (his mom is part Native American). I had machine-pieced and hand-quilted it. Washed it in very cold water, to remove the quilting lines I'd drawn...and the dye bled on the star points. Boooooo hooooooo :( I had prewashed and thought all the fabrics were safe. Thanks to this board, I learned that Synthrapol might get the bleed out, but I'm still pretty heartsick.[Awesome quilt love the colors great job.]
