    straight stitch on the edges. After you get all your motifs glued and sewn then put ypur layers together and free motion all the textures.

    Wonderful!! I have a book by Nancy Zieman (sp) that teaches how to do these. I have yet to make one. :oops: It's on my really long project list. :roll:

    I could use one of these for a Christmas gift for my brother. Are the tiny branches also appliqued? That looks like a lot of detailed scissor work.

    Easy. Watch Sewing with Nancy. Its like painting with fabric.

    I'm in Westhampton. So sometimes she's on channel 21 or 133
    133 at 12 and 6pm. 21 at 3pm. Each day is different. Thay switch it up with Fons and Porter. Depending on wher you live the channels are different. Try google to catch past shows.
