Thanks. The last one was really fun. I created the abrk by cuting up an old scarf I had and sewing it down. I also used it as a fram around the picture.
Farmers Market is from my quilt line. The other two wood textures I got from Joanns

Your fabrics in the farmer's market line are lovely. Congratulations on having your talents recognized in this way! We are lucky to have you joining us but I know you will feel lucky to be here also as this is a wonderful group of people... so giving and caring and helpful to one another.
Welcome to the QB from Upstate NY, and I mean wayyyyyy Upstate. I'm up in the Tug Hill area just a few miles from Lake Ontario.

Yes. You paste them down with a glue stick and then stitch the edges down. After you do this step then your ready to quilt the layers together and free motion all your textures in. The first step is very important. If you dont stitch down all your motifs first the quilt will never lay flat. I learned the hard way by trying short cuts. Live and learn.
Janet, the depth among the trees is amazing. I was buying fabrics to do a landscape but just don't have the courage yet.
    Yours is just beaut.

Those are so pretty, very soothing to look at. Did you design them yourself? Or were they kits? I would love to attempt to make one like your last photo with the fall leaves. So pretty, I'm very impressed. Good job!
