    Default Landscape Doodle quilt

Hey all, Here's a pic of my finished Landscape Doodle quilt. It's about 40" x 52".

    Thanks for looking,
    Rob

Beautiful! Love the vivid colors. Would be cool under a black light.

Is it pieced or a printed panel?

Thanks, Chasing Hawk, Tallchick and Salsews. It's painted. I drew the doodle in my small sketchbook, then enlarged it and traced it onto unbleached muslin. I painted it using sun dyes, then layered some cotton batting on the back and did a preliminary quilt around all the elements. After that I added some opaque fabric paints in a couple of places and layered it up with wool batting, cotton/poly blend batting and backing fabric and re-quilted the whole thing with superior holographic thread around the larger motifs and Isacord black thread micro quilting in a few areas.

Very cool piece! You are so creative and talented - thanks for sharing your process. I think this should have been entered into whatever appropriate category at the State Fair..
