    Default Landscape quilt

I took a landscape quilt class from an art professor. She isn't a seamstress. She does everything by hand. She taught the class from a totally different perspective than I feel someone who sews a lot would have. Really enjoyed the class. I started over once and tore this apart a couple of times. The boat is made from wood veneer and model magic, it is half of a boat. I think I am finally happy with how it came out.

So, aside from the wood veneer and model magic, is the rest of it all fabric or is that some painting too? This piece definitely has a mysterious vibe to it, like a storm brewing on the open water.

Besides the boat, what part(s) were you taking apart? I think it is excellent!

You really took advantage of the opportunity to work outside a quilter's normal range.

What an interesting piece. You've really captured the movement of water beautifully.

Just stunning. I really like that the sails are sheer and you can see the shoreline thru them.
