Holy Moly! So beautiful. Can't believe the colors. Really looks like a scene from an Impressionist's painting.

Can't wait to see what you quilt on it!

WOW Cute! It looks like something that should hang on the wall as art!! You color coordination and placement is off the charts! I love the smaller border. It came out so interesting and eye catching!!! You are talented for sure!! Your design skills are really fantastic!

I don't normal do art quilts, though if I was keeping this baby I might have thought about it. the picture is great, to get the same view you have to stand back a ways, one reason I took the pic was so that I could stand back a bit and look.

Do I suggest anyone do the same thing? not really, only if you want to go stark raving mad, but a little bigger pieces would have helped, Someone looking to do something similar, don't even know what to suggest when looking for fabric. I would consider using several different prints. for the flowers. I have one that has daffodils here that I would pick,

You guys are killing me, I don't want my interpretation to stop anyone from trying this, in fact, I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with, I hope if anything that I have inspired people to think further than what they have done. And there is no rush, (I am not done yet, i have to figure out how to quilt it without spoiling it, there is no sid for this thing. )

I want to sincerely thank everyone that has even come to gander what I have done and a bigger thanks to those that left me a note. I actually believe that everyone can do what I do, you just have to believe in yourself, and for those that want to be just like me when they grow up, I have not grown up yet so that will never work, you have to become a child again.

    :D

Cute, it is beautiful! It just sells me on this technique even more than I already was. No way I'm going to try that but it sure opens the door to more possibilities. Too bad we can't show all these to Maxine so she can see how much we love her book!!

CB - I think you artist take on the original picture is absolutely beautiful. I've enjoyed this journey...thanks for progress reports and pictures, etc. What a lovely quilt...it's both beautiful and thought provoking at the same time :) :)
