OMG! Cute that is amazing! Do you realize you have created a kalidescope/bargello? That is really beautiful.

Is that what I did? I have seen pictures of bargellos, but not read much about them and what makes them a bargello. I am glad someone knows what I am doing, because I sure don't, I am just waiting for DD#1 to finish pressing, the center is altogether, though I didn't get a look at it, it curls a lot with the size pieces I used. then I will take a picture, I am putting this border on it http://www.quilterscache.com/E/EntwinedBorder.html

as far as I know so far, I have to go find fabric off of the wall for it.

Thank you Amma, if you keep coming and drooling it will take forever for it to dry out so that I can work on it some more!

Thanks Overlander. I am not really sure who it doing it, it just sort of appeared out of no where!

So the center is done and I have not pulled the fabric yet for the border.

My lovely assistant that is holding it is DD#1 and she did a lot of pressing, today and before on the blocks as they were being made.

This is by far the most intimidating challenge I've seen here!

I am afraid to ask but what is intimidating about it? the picture or my quilt?
