I will give you that it is pretty, it didn't take much talent, it has to be one of the easiest blocks around. and the lay out was toss this here toss this there, we did very little rearranging of the blocks from where they landed when we planned where the colors were going. It took perserverance to keep going to get it this far for sure.

The whole idea is for everyone to do their own version! not copy mine, Do you think there are others out there nuts enough to cut and sew this many blocks out? there might be a few, Even if they did the OBW style they would cut it bigger than the 1 3/4 inch strips that I did.

I really don't want to intimidate anyone.

Cute that looks fantastic and I love the border pattern - I didn't know quilters cache HAD border patterns so thanks for the heads up. Might come in handy for the IRR... :D

And how great to have a helper - mine are too small yet to trust with the iron but Joey is very good at cutting up scraps that I've tossed into teeny tiny pieces and Lily likes to count charm squares! So at least my bin is neat and I know exactly how many charms I have!

I love WIP threads! Your quilt is going to be beautiful (it already is!!!) What planning and detail! Very clever to base a quilt on an images such as a photo or painting.

    Eager to see more posts!
