Cool Lap quilt for a friend

I just finished this lap quilt, probably the fastest quilt I've ever made.... I had cut out the fabric already a year ago, so that was one job less and then the rest went pretty fast and I tried, for the first time, to make the binding as a "faux-piping" (another good idea I received on this board!!!) Thanks for looking!!!

It's a bit of a heavier fabric, a bit like jeans fabric. It was given to me a year ago, already cut in bands to make a long skirt and I cut 6 1/2" squares out of it Because it's heavier, I just lined it with a sheet and the backing is a fluffy knit (the fluff is on the inside) but I think it should be warm enough.

Nice job, love the idea of "faux-piping" I will have to try it.
