    Default Lapquilt top with scappy trees

    Just finished this quilt top, not sure how I'll quilt it yet. The blocks are based on the pattern Acorn's Promise, but the pattern puts all the blocks on point and I wanted a mix of square and on-point. I used up lots of scraps strips on this one.

    Wow, that's a lot of teeny tiny diamonds! Great top and I would FMQ leaves in the tops and bark into the trunks.

    I second what Tartan says about the tiny diamonds! But they came together so nicely and I do love how you alternated them.

    I agree, SPECTACULAR. I would quilt each tree with a thread that coordinates with the fabric in each tree.
