Are all the stars the same, just positioned differently on the block? My daughter has wanted me to do a patriotic quilt for her for some time now. I know she would love this pattern & it looks pretty simple. The fabrics & the quilting would be the special punch. I have been collecting patriotic fabrics for some time, I could get started soon & I especially love doing the handwork part of the appliqued stars. Always like having something portable I can keep with me & work on where ever I might be with a few minutes to "kill".

Yes the stars are all the same, just placed randomly on the background square, and then I used the same template to do the quilting
