ania, you are so modest! They look real good! About the stitching - that's what your quilting family is for - to not notice them! Seriously, they are really nice!

looks like you are off to a great start. i am especially interested in the quilting on the yellow. did you quilt it yourself? i saw a pic in a catalogue of a very pricey quilt that was quilted very much like yours. i am so tempted to try it myself.
keep up the good work, and keep the pictures coming. we love to share

I can'ty believe it....Where?????? Since this was my first quilt ever...I just took pieces of fabric..cut them (not so even)..he he....and sew them together..like my own design (or luck of one).....When I run out of fabric, I started to rip and rearranged the pieces......Its so horribrl that in certain places the stitches are just not sewn ..there are bolks all over....really bad...
By the time I finished piecing the top....I learnt I should put something in between...I could get only a cheap polyester......and then sew a big zigzag with the walking foot ...came out uneven and ugly....But I had my first quilt done........Even the fabric are combination of different kind of fabric (not uniform...)
    Thanks for the complements.....
I bought today the brother PQ1500 machine.....and I really hope to quilt nicer quilts in the future (better done)......

    Ania:
I really like your quilts...especially the blue and white one. I also like the way you quilted them. Good job. Your work shows great creativity and that goes a long way in becoming a good quilter. Thanks for sharing.

ania, it is the giant zig zag down the surface of the quilt that caught my attention. i think the one i saw used a wavey stitch but it looked very much like yours. see how creative you are. they wanted a pretty penny for theirs so keep up the good work, you never know.
