Default The last of my great nephew and niece quilts

This is the last one.... quilts made for my sibling's grandchildren. This one is for my oldest great nephew.... he's in his 20s and I wasn't quilting when he was born so I had to make a full sized one for him. He is my brother's grandson. This is a memory quilt for him because both his grandpa (my brother) and his dad (my nephew) have passed on. It was kinda hard to look at the pictures of them while working on it but I hope my GN will enjoy it.

This is only the top.... can't wait till it's finished but I have to wait for the backing fabric that I ordered so you all get an early peek. I don't know what I'm going to work on now but at least this one is about done.

That is so neat. Love the effect of the look of the old fashioned film strip. He will absolutely love this quilt.

I love your layout with the filmstrip borders. How many students today even know what filmstrips are? I showed many in my early years of teaching.
