I admire you. I tried one of her ATW quilts and thought I would hang myself. Never again. You did a gorgeous job and should be very pleased.

Love it, love it ,love it. Blue is my favorite color and I like the arrangement. She is going to treasure it and think of you every time she uses it.

I love that color combination. And what a sweet thing to do for your dad's wife! You inspire me to want to make one for my "other-mother" too!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. The pattern was not difficult, but I had to "think" to keep it in the correct order. It is sewed strips which are sewed into in a loop and cut for the actual strip for the quilt. When putting it together, you cut the loop in half one square up for each row. I put it together in 4 sections. I laid it out on the floor and after attaching each row, I put it back down to ensure it was in the right order. I got cocky during the piecing and sewed 11 rows all in the wrong order...backwards. I was able to use it on the flip side of the quilt so I did not have to "ripit". I bet this is all clear as mud. The pattern is Eleanor Burns, Quick Trip Around the World with a slight altering of the pattern to make it a little larger.
