    Default Last Supper, Guatemala style

When I was in Guatemala a few of years ago with the Guatemala Project, I noticed this painting on the lobby wall of our little pension. I was taken by the artist's interpretation of the Last Supper Guatemala style. I took this photo. . just the center. . not all twelve disciples. Then a year or two ago when I went, the painting was no longer there. I asked Pedro what happened to it. He said, "Someone stole it!" Can you imagine??? Well, I decided to challenge myself and made this fabric wall hanging. I'm elated with the way it turned out. It's not the whole painting, and certainly flawed, but I hope Pedro will like it.
