This one has been a WIP for about 2 years. After my wife finished her mother's quilt, she offered to make one for my mom. I picked the fabrics and we used the same simple pattern to make the quilt. When the top was finished, we laid it out and pinned it, thinking we could quilt it on the machine. That didn't go so well, and soon we just started making tops without thinking about how we were going to get them all quilted.

When we bought the GrandQuilter, we decided to pull this one out of storage and finally finish it. I think it turned out pretty well, but our binding skills are still a bit rough. I'm sure my mom won't mind. She popped in and wanted to see what we were working on one night, so she has seen the quilt, but had no idea it was for her. We're glad she likes it.

    Thanks for looking.

    Darren
