    I always like the dark borders last but in this case I do think it would be best to put the dark border then the striped border. Either way, I think it is a great quilt. He will love it.

    Very nice quilt for a guy yes. A darker border will really bring it togeather very nicely, keep up the good work.

    Very nice for a guy. I agree with you... frame it with a small dark color then the stripes. I do alot of stripe bindings too on the bias - I tell people it gives my quilts character and attitude. :lol:
