    There are lots of memories in this quilt and the bear paw I made because of the fabric hunt I went on during our travels, but there is also some old scraps of fabric from bits of clothing I made through out the years for myself and my girls........so yes, there are lots of memories.............but then..........that's what quilting is originally about. The scraps from yesterday are the quilts of today !!

    Very pretty. Your purple block really "pops". I think the scrappy border will be perfect.

    quiltwoman....that purple block really does pop in the photo ! I never noticed it until you mentioned it. Do you think I should replace it .........maybe it is too loud for the rest of the quilt :?: :?:
