The pattern is called Tea Leaf. And its similar to a Cathedral window in that you fold down the "windows" and sew them in place. The difference between this and cathedral window is that each "window" in this quilt is made up of 4 patches and then sewn together. I think you can really have a little more flexibility with color if you wanted to. I just used some leftover strips I had from a jelly roll. I discovered a few things that the pattern really doesn't bring up though. So next time should be even better. I enjoyed making it. The pattern is from Poorhouse Quilt Designs.
